I was going to show you my wool:
but there’s a problem uploading images at the mo, for some reason. Will insert it when I can…
Still no answer from the spinner lady to my email or tel message. Perhaps she’s still rolling (or spinning) about on the floor laughing at how little wool I have and can’t get to the phone / computer.
During one of my rare ironing incidents the other day, I was looking for a means of occupying R and aware that it couldn’t be “ironing like mummy” because she doesn’t have a mini iron / board (funny that??). Came up with the idea of tying up a bit of string to make her own mini washing line which she absolutely loved. She spent ages figuring out how to hang her dollies’ clothes with the mini pegs. I was so chuffed that I came up with something so simple and engaging instead of turning on the telly.
My latest favourite “R-ism” - we were looking at a book where you match up the mummy and baby animals and R said: “And the mummy pig goes next to her baby twiglets“. She’s also started calling me “mo-mo” which I’m not sure if I like or not. Mr. P is gleefully making the situation worse by calling me “little Mo”.
I was enjoying listening to Radio 1 tonight. Zane Lowe (who is always entertaining and seems passionate about his music) was having a musical battle with Judge Jules (who I don’t really know alot about but who seems to have been around for centuries). They were taking it in turns to mix in tunes to see who was King of the musical castle. A great idea. And there was lots of “fighting talk” about who was clobbering the other. Zane’s choices were much more interesting I thought and I even went on the website to see the names of the tracks they were playing. My favourite being House of Pain’s - Shamrocks & Shenanigans! The fellas’ homage to surfing my site whilst in the Emerald Isle. Obviously.

mo-mo little mo…am I in trouble now???? Ha ha ha great name. How about teaching R rudimentary computer programming she shouldn’t be tied to the ironing board (although I do love it)
So, the spinner hasn’t replied, well as you say, either she is spreading the word about this eccentric woman asking her to spin a bit of wool…or she is in fact still rolling on the floor…have you been collecting more wool?? Look forwars to seeing the picies when you can upload them.

Yes, you are in trouble! Great idea re teaching R computing, perhaps then she can do Mr. P’s job and he can retire. Had a message from the spinner today!

grovelling apologies! Great photos, the wool one looks a little like a beastie…the ‘R’ photo is cool it looks like the top peg is almost hanging from her hair…so, the spinning is a go…look forward to seeing the outcome, (why not ask the spinner if you can make photos of her at work and put them here?)
