Dazzling sky tonight
Could be either a seascape or a skyscape
Very moody with the brooding dark cloud
This is what happened to the dark cloud 10 mins later
“The leaning tree of Gregynog”
discovered on our walk today.

I’ve just been listening to something from the Hay Festival and the rain there is bucketing down, what’s it like with you? The photos are great, what’s that saying ‘red sky at night shepherds delight’ I never know whether that means it’s gong to be good weather the next day or rain…
I love the leaning tree…is that the same Gregynog that Swansea Uni have conferences at? I remember going there for an Anthropology thing once…

Hi Chris – yes it was hoofing down all day here too so the shepherd didn’t get his delightful sunny day. The wet sheep here looked blimmin miserable too! Yes, Gregynog is part of Swansea Uni / Uni of Wales (where Al & I met!) – gorgeous isn’t it?

I have to be honest and say that I was rather drunk when I was at Gregynog, so I don’t remember much of it…
